B.Braun Medical Inc. is seeking Clinical Product Educators (CPE) to educate clinical staff on B. Braun peripheral IV catheters and infusion pumps. The Clinical Product Educator (CPE) will provide education/training to our existing or potential customers on the use of B. Braun Medical’s products. The CPE works with Sales Representatives/Clinical Nurse Consultant and the full-time Clinical Nurse Educator to advance the sales process and maximize customer satisfaction through in-service education and training programs, clinical and product trouble-shooting, and follow-up activities. Product focus revolves primarily around the Infusion Therapy Devices and Introcan Safety product line but may include any of the product portfolio. The CPE functions as a clinical and product expert representing B. Braun Medical in the healthcare community.
- Conducts and leads in-services and educational sessions relative to BBM products during evaluations, conversions and trouble-shooting
- Works under the direction and supervision of the Clinical Nurse Consultant along with BBM Sales Representatives and Clinical Nurse Educator
- On-going collaboration and teamwork with CNC’s and Sales Representatives
To qualify for this position, candidates must possess a minimum 2-3 years of recent clinical experience in an acute care facility, (areas of expertise: Critical Care, Trauma/ED, NICU, PICU, Infusion Therapy, Oncology, Med-Surg, SICU, PACU) and current clinical experience with IV Therapy and Infusion Therapy devices/systems. Must have a current nursing license in good standing (state of residence), as well as required annual re-licensure submission (in good standing) Professional credentialing (i.e., CCRN, CRNI, etc.) is desired.
Candidates must willing to accept & travel to assignments a minimum of 10 days per month prn, shifts will generally be 8 to 10 hours but may vary according to field account needs and as deemed necessary by Clinical Nurse Consultant. Ability to travel (drive within region 6-7 hr., fly-prn, train, taxi, etc.) for assignments within regional geography or (U.S. as needed). Shifts to be worked and account location assignments will be determined by Corporate Scheduler based on field request needs. Candidates must also: demonstrate proficient and appropriate communication and written skills, effective instructional skills to customer healthcare professionals on the use of B. Braun products, benefits, and functionality, exercises competent critical thinking and decision making skills. As this position requires travel, candidates must possess current Driver’s license in good standing and a reliable vehicle for transportation.
